Upcoming Courses in 2025
Fancy giving woodcarving a go? I run several courses throughout the year at two wonderful venues:
Highgrove; the family residence of the King and Queen, the workshop is set within the stunning Highgrove estate and includes a tour of the famous gardens.
Weald and Downland Museum, home to The Repair Shop and nestled in the most glorious West Sussex countryside.
Here’s what’s coming up…
"Sarah was an excellent teacher..I am pleased and proud with what I achieved in the allotted time.
– London Craft Week student 2018
"Loved my course! Very very addictive! Anyone can have a go at wood carving .. I was a bit doubtful as have no artistic skills but always wanted to have a go. Sarah is such a lovely person, very friendly and very informative, and very talented. I came away with a fun piece of carving that I was proud of!".
– Miranda
The time seemed to fly by, but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, which gave me a really good grounding in letter carving. With a bit of practice (and a few more tools) I look forward to producing some carvings of my own.
